Ted Carr - instruments

Ted used to have "a couple" of other dulcimers apart from the one he usually plays, but they were apparently not very special, and have now disappeared, having either rotted with the worm, or been given away.

The only other dulcimer he ever played was that of his father-in-law.

The instrument he performs on is trapezoid with chessmen bridges in two straight lines (type yy.2), and strung with 11 IV + 11 III , all steel strings.
