My dulcimer
research activities are described in the course of this present
study; earlier writings have included

dissertation - presenting information which was new at the
time, but can now be seen to be obviously incomplete;

on the dulcimer in East Anglia for English Dance and Song
(46), reprinted in Dulcimer Players' News, of which
only the comments about the early history have been superseded
by further research;
- and articles
for Sohlmans Musik Lexicon of Stockholm, and Grove
6 in London.
