John Chapman, Scotland & London
John Chapman came to London from Scotland in 1959, working for the Metropolitan Water Board for 27 years; but his dulcimer style is much more Scottish than a London one, and he is discussed under Scotland, here.
Writing from memory in 2002, I believe he made an instrument for his neighbour Ruby Tanner, but I can't find the section about Ruby just now...
